There are a number of different thinning hair treatments on the market, and in this post I will be discussing the more popular ones in order to help you decide what treatment is for you.

However I also want to discuss some other options available.
Dermenodex and Andenogen: This product fortifies the scalp with vital nutrients by improving the blood circulation to the scalp. The active ingredients include essential fatty acids, adenosine, caffeine and natural vasodilators such as niacin.
In my opinion this product mainly focuses on stimulating healthy hair, however I am not certain of its direct inhibition of DHT, which is crucial for thinning hair treatments.
Avacor is another well known hair thinning treatment, and it has caused quite a commotion, being one of the top sellers in the market over recent years. However there has been some negative feedback about the claims the product makes and the excessive cost. It contains minoxidil which is FDA approved and is supposed to very effective at slowing hair loss.
Fabao 101 is a Chinese thinning hair treatment, and it was extremely popular in the 80’s and in particular with Japanese men. It has over 2 dozen natural ingredients for treatment hair loss, and the core one being He Shou Wu (Fo-Ti).
However although this product has been popular, there is not a lot of science to back up the claims they make and it is therefore hard to say for certain that it will stop hair loss and promote regrowth.
Provillus is another natural remedy for hair thinning, and it also contains monoxidil and other natural remedies which aim to create healthy and strong hair. This dual action of preventing DHT formation (which causes hair loss) and also maintaining health hair follicles, make Provillus a potentially great product.
